McKay is always great! I traded in some books, a puzzle, and video games and got a bunch of store credit to spend. Been coming here for 2 decades. Such a great selection of books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, toys, video games, and of course books of all kinds! Huge store! You are missing out if you don't shop here.

So well organized and an amazing selection. I was thrilled to find several books that I have been wanting for a while and hadn’t had any luck finding at any thrift stores. Prices are fantastic for most books, although certain popular authors felt very expensive (around $10), which was a little disappointing but I understand why. Overall great experience!

Easily the best used book store I've ever visited. Fairly well organized, and the search terminals are a helpful addition. Books are so reasonably priced here, you can easily explore things you've been curious about but unwilling to spend full price on, or stock up on your favorite genre. I especially love being able to browse the largest collection of historical fiction and also get a textbook, memoir, DVD, and a figurine on the way out. We stop every time we're in the area, there's something for everyone! Trade/sale of books and items is also a super streamlined and simple process!

McKay’s is our go to place to bring our books for bookstore credit to get new or used books & items there. We brought in 2 bins of military & children's books at McKays this November 2025. We got over $75 of credit to use in the store. We used the credit to buy various books and oracle cards. We got for $2.99 of credit - a giant book with color photos & history of indigenous people in North America - retailing at $50. Lots of fantastic deals on books - some were brand new and still sealed. Both oracle decks were brand new & still sealed - over 50% off regular price. Overall, we had a great day in McKay's.

I absolutely LOVE McKay’s. Always have, been coming here for years. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help direct you or find you what you’re looking for. Their 99cent CDs bring out the best sound quality in my car over my streaming on my phone so when I find CDs here I like it’s hard to pass up. They also have some of the best deals in the game on books and miscellaneous video games otherwise overlooked. If you’re looking for anything retro/nostalgic, chances are they have it. Five stars. Out of 5.

Best second hand book store I have ever been to by far! This place is huge and is organized. I wish I knew about this store when my kids were born. My family loves it here! Large selection of kids books to vintage books for my husband

I love this bookstore! Their selection is truly unmatched. So many books and organized so well. I always find a gem when I go and pretty reasonably priced used books! HUGE kids selection as well. I’m always trying to find other used book stores closer to me and there’s nothing like McKay’s

We absolutely love this bookstore and stop in about once a month. The selection is incredible and the prices are amazing. We homeschool, and McKay's makes it considerably more affordabls to find enrichment materials. I am especially impressed by their supply of historical coloring books. My last visit I went in to gather books for our medieval unit study and found everything I needed!

I enjoy visiting this used bookstore. The book prices are decent and they have a large selection of books. They also have alot of dvds, cds, and even board games. You can also sell your books here for store credit or cash. Either way, it is a bookstore worth visiting.
